Our Story

Five years ago, Sharara Hub began as a spark, an idea born in a design-management classroom at the American University of Sharjah.

While studying design thinking, Noor Eldegwy realized a major gap: students were learning how to solve real-world problems but not actually getting to solve them. Their projects ended with grades, not with real business impact.

To bridge that gap, she created Sharara Hub, a space where emerging creative minds and businesses meet to co-create meaningful, tangible solutions. After winning a national entrepreneurship competition, Noor spent five years working in innovation and youth programs learning firsthand how to turn ideas into results.

In 2025, she relaunched Sharara Hub with a clear purpose:

To connect talented students and alumni with businesses in the UAE through fast, outcome-driven design-thinking sprints.

Sharara means spark in Arabic, and that’s exactly what we aim to ignite:
a spark of creativity, collaboration, and innovation that lights up both talent and industry.

Because when fresh perspectives meet real business challenges, innovation doesn’t just happen, it grows.
